The Art of Making at the Jennings Gallery, UCC

How does making art impact on health? First Year Occupational Therapy students will offer their own answers to this question at an art exhibition on Tuesday 13 May at UCC’s Jennings Gallery.The print and textile exhibition, entitled ‘The Art of Making’, seeks to highlight the importance of the relationship between the maker and the object. The art of making is a journey that is personal, shared and a celebration of who we are. The opening reception is on Tuesday 13 May at 5.30pm in the Jennings Gallery, located on the first floor of the Brookfield Health Sciences Complex, UCC. CARE at St. Francis Hospice, Raheny, Dublin

WillFredd Theatre invites you to  St. Francis Hospice, Raheny for a very special performance of CARE. Following a sell-out success at Project Arts Centre in Feburary this year, CARE returns for one show only on Friday, 30 May 2014 from 5.00pm to 6.00pm. CARE is an investigation into Palliative Care and the people who work in it. It was developed with WillFredd Theatre, artistic collaborators and Irish Hospice Staff over a period of 14 months from 2012 to 2014.
