Offset, an intergenerational printmaking exhibition at University Hospital Galway, will be officially launched on 6 August 2019 by Mrs Sabina Higgins. Celebrating exchange between the ages and wards of Galway University Hospitals, the project was developed through participatory workshops with patients.  Read More

The Trial is a visual art installation on healthcare and human rights in the Irish criminal justice system, created by Sinead McCann and made in collaboration with men from the Bridge Project Dublin who have lived prison experiences, with research by UCD historians, Catherine Cox and Fiachra Byrne.  Read More

Work from the Arts Council collection on loan to St. Vincent’s University Hospital

The Arts Council, the state agency responsible for developing the arts, has loaned 30 pieces of visual art from its collection to St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin. The works were selected by members of staff, and will be installed throughout the hospital in public areas including corridors, foyers and patient areas. Read More


Create Networking Day 2019

Create, the national development agency for collaborative arts, will host its annual Networking Day on 26 September 2019 at Millennium Hall, Cork City in partnership with Crawford Art Gallery (Cork), Counterpoints Arts (London), Cork City Arts Office and Heart of Glass (St Helens). The Networking Day opens up a space to ask a shared and urgent question: how can collaborative forms of arts practice – engaging with the embodied experiences and knowledge of citizens – initiate and implement real civic agency and significant momentum for social change?
