Uillinn West Cork Arts Centre in partnership with Cork County Council/Creative Ireland, Cork ETB and HSE Cork Kerry Community Healthcare are inviting expressions of interest from artists who would like to take up a learning residency as part of the Arts for Health Partnership Programme.

The successful artist will be awarded a studio space at Uillinn from 29 September – 6 November, a series of five mentor sessions and a stipend of €1200, and will design and deliver a remote project with older people at home. The opportunity will incorporate a three-day online learning programme from 7-9 December 2021.

The objective of this opportunity is to support an artist to develop their arts and health practice and explore remote ways of working with older people at home. It is open to all artforms and is suited to early career artists with some experience in participatory or collaborative practice.

Essential Criteria

  • Artists must be based in County Cork
  • Available for the studio dates and learning programme
  • Evidence of professional practice and some experience in working with people
  • Garda Clearance is a requirement for the successful applicant.
