Anam Beo
Anam Beo is an independent arts and health organisation that delivers the Offaly Arts-in-Health Programme. It is supported by the HSE Dublin Mid-Leinster and Offaly County Council.
Mission / Aims
To provide access, text to replace with appreciation, awareness and enjoyment of the arts for all involved in arts and health initiatives in order to further include all members of the community in arts practice and to encourage a policy-based approach to the development of arts and health in County Offaly.
Areas of activities
- Improving the structures and mechanisms for the delivery and engagement of the arts in healthcare settings.
- Developing partnerships with key local agencies and arts organisations to develop a comprehensive programme and models of best practice in the area of arts and health.
- Exploring the developmental nature of the arts within health settings, through implementation of best practice projects through ongoing monitoring and evaluation.
