Beehouse Arts

Mission / Aims

Beehouse Arts is a complimentary arts service with a vision to promote and enhance healthy living and wellbeing through creativity on a personal and community level.

Beehouse Arts passionately believes that everyone is creative and that creativity has a powerful role to play in self determination, wellbeing and the health of society.

Beehouse Arts aspires to become a robust and sustainable community interest business in the arts and health field within Ireland. We want to become synonymous with a high quality and professional service that provides refreshing, relaxing and challenging creative experiences for participants and practicioners.

Areas of activities

Beehouse Arts also promotes the area of arts and health via networking, seminars and talks including curating arts and health exhibitions.

Beehouse Arts initated the South Tipperary Arts and Health Interest Group in 2010 with local artists and arts therapists to organise an Arts and Health Exchange Day in Clonmel, 27 April, 2011 for artists working and living in South Tipperary and surrounding areas. The aims of the event were to support and empower artists by sharing experiences and to open up dialogue and reflection that will lead to the ongoing development of arts and health in this region.
