Temple of Treasures: Transforming Temple Street Hospital into a game environment

Young people, text to replace with their families and staff at Temple Street Children’s University Hospital took part in an interactive game event on 13 June 2017. Temple of Treasures was designed by teen patients with artists Siobhán Clancy and Rachel Tynan and the hospital’s Play Department. The event forms part of the Fireflies project developed by Helium Arts to support teenagers transitioning to adult health services. Read More

The Bealtaine Festival, text to replace with celebrating creativity as we age, has awarded visual artist Joanna Hopkins the inaugural Bealtaine Artist’s Residency in a care setting. Bealtaine, working with Azure, Creative Exchanges and in association with the Waterford Healing Arts Trust (WHAT), have developed this artist’s residency within a care setting that specialises in caring for older people with dementia.
