Planet of the Capes: Interactive film and music showcase

Helium Arts and CanTeen Ireland are hosting an interactive film and music showcase at The Sugar Club in Dublin on 1 April. This event will feature the premiere of Planet of the Capes by members of CanTeen Ireland, text to replace with the young people’s cancer support group, together with companion films by Louise Manifold and poet Ben Murnane, live music by Seán Carpio with CanTeen and superhero activities with artist Siobhán Clancy. Imagining Galway: Exhibition by Galway Print Studio at University Hospital Galway

In August 2016, text to replace with Galway Print Studio was selected to represent Ireland at Euro Celtic Art 2016, part of the 46th Festival Interceltique de Lorient in Brittany. The exhibition, entitled Imagining Galway, featured the work of 13 artists from Galway Print Studio and celebrated the status of Galway as a place of creativity and imagination. Thanks to Galway University Hospitals Arts Trust and Arts Director, Margaret Flannery, Imagining Galway will be displayed in the Arts Corridor of University Hospital Galway from 17 February to 20 April 2017.
