Anima screening at Wexford Documentary Film Festival

Anima, text to replace with a film by Colm Mullen exploring Marie Brett’s research on death and care, will be screened at the Wexford Documentary Film Festival 2017. The film was funded through the 2016 artsandhealth.ie Documentation Bursary. The screening will take place on Saturday 23 September at 1.45pm as part of the ‘Films Off-Site & Shorts’ programme. Participate in arts based research enquiry at St Patrick’s University Hospital

St Patrick’s Mental Health Services have initiated the ‘Collaborative stakeholder inquiry in mental health: Considering the role and impact of arts-based research methods in recovery-oriented service development’. Stakeholders are invited to attend a public presentation of visual art and songs made by service users and staff on 2 October at St Patrick’s University Hospital. The presentation will be followed by a one-to-one interview with a member of the research team. Read More

Call for abstracts: Health Humanities & Arts in Health International Symposium

The University of Derby will host the Health Humanities & Arts in Health International Symposium on 27 and 28 November 2017. Abstracts are currently sought for 15 minute papers, text to replace with practical workshops, flash sessions and other presentation styles. The deadline for abstract submissions is 25 September.
