Arts + Minds in partnership with Crawford Art Gallery, Cork will host a short lunchtime event to mark World Mental Health Day and celebrate the creative achievements of Arts + Minds project participants. The event will take place in The Long Room, Crawford Art Gallery at 12.30pm on Monday, 10 October 2011.
Five short animation films, created by participants of the Unfold project will be screened. Kathleen Lynch T.D., Minister for Disability, Equality, Mental Health and Older People will be guest speaker.
Arts + Minds aim to enhance the health and wellbeing of mental health service users through engagement with the arts. We work with professional artists across six mental health settings in Cork. All are welcome, but booking is essential. Light lunch and refreshments will be provided.
