Documenting Arts + Health is a continous professional development peer based artists clinic suitable for artists of all disciplines who are working collaboratively in healthcare settings and are interested in exchanging and developing good documentation techniques to support their practice.
This day long clinic, which includes input from UK based artist Alison Kershaw (www.alison-kershaw.com), Irish artist, Cliona Harmey (www.clionaharmey.info), arts consultant Sarah Searson, Patrick Fox, Director of Create, Mary Grehan and Claire Meaney of the Waterford Healing Arts Trust, as well as peer discussion, will cover the ethical responsibilities around documenting arts and health practice, media available for documenting your work, mediation – how work reads in different contexts; application, web, publications etc.
The event is co-hosted by the Waterford Healing Arts Trust , Create, the national development agency for collaborative arts in social contexts and Visual Artists Ireland and will take place in the WHAT Centre for Arts and Health, Waterford.
