The Amulet is a collaborative arts and health project creatively exploring the issue of pregnancy and infant loss. Initiated by visual artist Marie Brett, the project is a partnership between the artist and bereaved parents, Cork University Maternity Hospital (CUMH), Waterford Healing Arts Trust, Waterford Regional Hospital, the Mid Western Regional Hospital and Ballyphehane/Togher Arts+Crafts Initiative (BTACI).
The book Amulet was produced by Marie Brett and is the outcome of a two year research phase undertaken by the artist in collaboration with CUMH and BTACI and kindly supported by the HSE South Cork Arts + Health Programme.
