New WHAT Artist in Residence 2012

Waterford Healing Arts Trust is delighted to announce that Martin Fahy is the WHAT Artist in Residence for 2012. Martin will be based in the WHAT Centre for Arts in Health from March to September this year.

During his residency, Martin will engage members of Waterford Regional Hospital’s patient and staff community in a project about the heart via the Coronary Care Unit, the Cardiac Rehab Unit and the Cardiac Cath Lab. He will invite people to share their experiences of when they learned something by heart. Martin will collate all the contributions to create a series of illustrations which will be displayed in an exhibition in the hospital in September/ October 2012.
