The Waterford Healing Arts Trust is inviting expressions of interest from soloists and established music ensembles to join a panel of musicians for our Healing Sounds programme from July 2012 for one year. Musicians on the panel will be asked to complete an induction before the new panel commences and will be scheduled to perform in Waterford Regional Hospital up to fours times throughout the year.

Musicians are requested to submit by hard copy only:

  • A current Musical Curriculum Vitae for soloists and music ensembles.
  • Expression of Interest (max 250 words) in which musicians state their motivation for performing in an acute hospital setting.
  • Sample recordings: at least two tracks that reflect the programme that is proposed for the hospital and a list of pieces in your repertoire selection that you believe would work in an acute hospital setting. Please note that the recordings do not need to be of a professional standard, but should reflect the artistic quality of the musicians involved
  • Names and full contact details of two relevant referees

The closing date for submissions is Tuesday, 8 May 2012 at 2pm.
