The Arts Council announces the Arts Participation Bursary Award deadline is 17 January 2013. The purpose of the award is to support professional artists to develop their art practice. It provides artists with the time and resources to think, research, reflect and critically engage with their art. The maximum awarded is €10000.

Online services
The Arts Council has an online services website. All applications must be submitted through the online services website. You can upload a wide range of support materials in electronic format (up to 20 MB in total) along with your application form.
The window for making an online application opens on 10 December 2012.
Before you will be able to make an online application you will have to register with the site. It may take up to five working days for your registrations to be confirmed so it is very important that you register as early as possible. Please note that there will be no registrations between Friday 21 December 2012 and Wednesday 2 January 2013.
