West Cork Arts Centre will host a professional development workshop for artists and childcare workers as part of their Early Childhood Arts Programme on Saturday 17 November from 11.00am – 1.00pm. West Cork Arts Centre welcomes the BEAG team from Graffiti Theatre Company, Cork who will deliver a unique workshop exploring the techniques and approaches to working with very young children.

The workshop will showcase some of the work of the BEAG Project (which takes place in early childcare settings) and encourage participants to explore the possibilities of creative engagement in the context of Early Years Arts. It is specifically designed for artists of all disciplines interested in working with Early Years (0-3 years) and for childcare professionals who would like to build on their creativity in a childcare setting. The BEAG team is: Fiona Kelleher (Music), Inge Van Doorslaer (Visual Arts), and George Hanover (Theatre & Drama).

There are only 12 places available  and booking is essential. Contact West Cork Arts Centre on 028 – 22090 to book your place.

The BEAG Project is an initiative of Graffiti Theatre Company, supported by Cork City Council, the Cork Arts and Health Programme HSE South, and Cork County Council. This workshop is made possible by the support of Cork Arts and Health Programme, HSE South.
