International Symposium: The Experience of Illness – Learning from the Arts

An international symposium The Experience of Illness: Learning from the Arts is taking place at University College Cork, Ireland on the 30 Nov and 1 Dec 2012. The Alimentary Pharmabiotic Centre (APC) presents an overview of illness as expressed not only in the visual arts but also in fiction, poetry, history, narrative, dialogue and cinema.

The symposium accompanies an international exhibition Living Loss: The Experience of Illness in Art at the Lewis Glucksman Gallery.
