Seeders at Old Market House Arts Centre, Dungarvan

Seeders, an exhibition of sculpture and tapestry by artists Corina Duyn and Pascale De Coninck, opens at the Old Market House Arts Centre, Dungarvan, on 2 March 2013. The inspiration for Corina Duyn’s latest sculptural work has come in large part from her experiences of living with M.E., portraying her tentative steps to be part of society within the restrictions of illness/disability.  The Seeders exhibition will give the viewer a glimpse into her world. WHAT organises 3-day residency programme to celebrate Music in Hospitals – 7 Years On

In celebration of Ireland hosting the EU Presidency in 2013, the Waterford Healing Arts Trust will bring together key musicians involved in the Music in Hospitals programme for a three-day residency in Waterford from 1-3 May. Music in Hospitals was a very successful European exchange programme which took place in 2006, comprising Musique et Sante, Paris, Arts for Health, Manchester, and the Waterford Healing Arts Trust. Per Cent for Art at Waterford Regional Hospital

In March 2012, HSE South commissioned an original artwork for the refurbished Emergency Department in Waterford Regional Hospital under the Per Cent for Art scheme. The Waterford Healing Arts Trust oversaw the selection of an artwork by a panel of HSE Emergency Department staff. In August 2012, Peadar Lamb installed his stained glass window Crann Fuinseog into the newly extended and renovated department. Read More
