Applications are invited for the post of Arts and Wellbeing Specialist (one year career break) at ARAS, a community project for those living with drug or alcohol addiction and their families or friends, servicing the Kildare and West Wicklow area. Closing date for applications is 24 April 2013.
ARAS wish to recruit an Arts and Wellbeing Specialist to manage an innovative and interactive arts and wellbeing programme in County Kildare. Inherent in the nature of the work is a requirement to understand and appreciate associated best practice in Arts and Health, Arts and Disability and Disability Arts. The Arts and Wellbeing specialist will have project management experience, ideally in the arts and wellbeing / arts and health field. Central to the role is an ability to actively engage with stakeholders in the field to initiate and sustain meaningful partnerships.
ARAS is funded by the Department of Health through the South Western Regional Drugs Task Force. The Arts and Wellbeing programme is supported by Kildare County Council and the Arts Council.
