A new publication highlighting the contribution of the arts and humanities to enhancing health and wellbeing has been produced by the Arts and Humanities Research Council in the UK. The publication was launched on 4 June at the Houses of Parliament at an event during which Members of Parliament and peers were given the opportunity to meet researchers across all disciplinary areas working in the field of health and wellbeing.
The event was organised by Research Councils UK and Parliamentary Office for Science and Technology (POST) to raise awareness of the ways in which publicly-funded research can improve public health and wellbeing.
