Arts Care is Northern Ireland’s leading arts in health organisation. It delivers a wide range of participatory and commissioned arts programmes at the heart of health and social care across Northern Ireland. Arts Care is now welcoming tenders for the self-employed role of Project Co-ordinator to organise and manage all aspects of a 28 month, province wide Older People’s Arts in Health Festival project, which Arts Care is hosting for the Public Health Agency of Northern Ireland.
There will be three festivals delivered over the 28 month period (over 3 consecutive years Dec 2013 – March 2016). The first festival of the contract is due for delivery before the end of March 2014, thereafter the remainder of two festivals will be delivered before the end of March 2014/15 and March 2015/16. The festival activity will attract participants from across all five Health and Social Care Trusts and multiple community groups.
The festival programme will include: workshops, exhibitions and performances and the co-ordinator will work alongside the Chief Executive and Project Steering Committee in helping to devise an innovative and dynamic programme for each festival over the next 28 months.
