The Arts Council has announced an Arts Participation Bursary Award with a view to supporting professional artists to develop their art practice. The award will provide artists with the time and resources to think, research, reflect and critically engage with their art. The closing date for applications is 16 January 2014.

Online services
The Arts Council has an online services website. All applications must be submitted through the online services website. You can upload a wide range of support materials in electronic format (up to 40 MB in total) along with your application form.
The window for making an online application opens on 17 December 2013.
Before you will be able to make an online application you will have to register with the site. It may take up to five working days for your registrations to be confirmed so it is very important that you register as early as possible. To register now click here. Please note that there will be no registrations between Friday 21 December 2012 and Wednesday 2 January 2013.
