Call for proposals from performing arts practitioners: Arts and Disability public art commission

Date posted: 9 April 2014

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown (DLR) County Council Arts Office invites proposals for a performing arts commission focusing on the exploration of sensory disabilities. The commission is open to either individuals or companies/collaborators to apply. It is anticipated that the successful applicant will work collaboratively with groups(s) of people with sensory disabilities in the Stillorgan electoral area of the county.

DLR is particularly interested in practitioners who work in a collaborative manner (either on a conceptual level or directly through participation), are flexible in their approach and responsive to the needs of those involved.

The budget for the commission is €14,000 inclusive; deadline for submissions is 24 June 2014. A briefing date for those interested in applying will be organised the week of 19 May 2014. For details on how to apply please click here.
