Opportunity
Kids’ Classics, the National Concert Hall (NCH) and The Community Foundation for Ireland are seeking to appoint an Evaluation Consultant to examine the impact of the Kids’ Classics programme of music activities and performances in a hospital paediatric setting. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional evaluator or researcher to examine the impact of professional music performances on patients, family members and hospital staff. The findings of the evaluation are likely to be of general interest to a range of organisations, including healthcare providers, arts organisations, musicians, academics and those working within the arts and health sector.
Kids’ Classics takes music off the concert stage and into the hearts of local communities through professionally tailored music workshops. Ireland’s National Concert Hall is regarded as one of the finest concert halls in Europe by performing artists. Through its investment in projects relating to music in healthcare (including Kids’ Classics), cultural integration and social cohesion, the NCH continually sees the benefits to adults and children across Ireland.
