Image shown: Peer dialogue for Professional Artists

Artist Sarah Ruttle invites you to Cork University Hospital to participate in a professional development opportunity on Friday 12 September from 10.30-12.30pm in The Boardroom, Cork University Hospital, Wilton, Cork. This workshop will conclude her investigation exploring tensions that arise in confidentiality, decision making and consent within an arts and health context.

This peer dialogue will provide artists an opportunity to share in the findings from the considerations of artists based in Cork, Dublin and Sligo involved in these series of workshops. Also they will look at the influences and impact of these considerations on arts and health projects in a variety of contexts.

The conversation will be directed by considering; Artists’ Intention and Purpose; Language and Communication; Defining confidentiality, decision making and consent; Arts in a Health context.

Light lunch will be provided alongside the viewing of work from the artist’s response to this project of work.

Attendance is free but spaces are limited so booking is essential.

Please Email sarahruttle_art@yahoo.ie by Wednesday 3rd September to book your place.

This project is supported by the Arts Council
