Synaptic Serenades: Musical Narratives of Stroke, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Disease, will be held after a symposium on Architecture, Design and Medicine on Tuesday 14 October 2014, from 18:30 – 20:30 at 6 Kildare Street, Dublin. This will be the first complete performance of three works by Ian Wilson, who was the composer in residence at the National Centre for Arts and Health, Tallaght Hospital Dublin, in collaboration with the Department of Geriatric Medicine and the Stroke Services at Tallaght Hospital Dublin. This event is in partnership with the National Centre for Arts and Health, Tallaght Hospital Dublin, with performers from the Royal Irish Academy of Music.
