In celebration of World Mental Health Day in October, a week long festival of arts and wellness will take place in various locations throughout West Cork. One of the highlights of the week is the official launch of the Bantry Community Choir at the ?Live Life and Sing? concert at The Maritime Hotel on Wednesday 8 October at 8pm. This event will also feature performances from special guests: The Baltimore Singers, Saint Mary?s Schull Gospel Choir and the West Cork Choral Singers.
Well known musician and broadcaster, Evelyn Grant, will be the host, for what promises to be a special night of music and song. Tickets are €10 and are available from The Maritime Hotel or Hickey?s Music, Main Street, Bantry.
