Stories from the Front is a theatre show at Liberty Hall on 14 January at 7pm as part of the First Fortnight Festival. It tells the personal stories of people who have experienced mental ill-health, carers and mental health professionals. In a truly inspiring collaboration the cast tell personal stories of mental health and our mental health services.
Through recorded narrative and dramatic enactments Stories from the Front reminds us all that even in the most challenging of times, the gift of human kindness and understanding is perhaps the most powerful asset any of us has. Based on the Forum Theatre method first developed by Augusto Boal, Stories From The Front is interactive theatre that encourages participation by audience members in a creative journey of hope and inspiration.
