artsandhealth.ie, Create and Dublin City Council’s The LAB are delighted to present Arts and Health- Check Up, Check In, a networking event for arts and health care practitioners and artists who work in healthcare settings in The LAB, Foley Street, Dublin on 29 January 2016.
Against the backdrop of 2016, Arts and Health Check Up, Check In will check the pulse of arts and health in Ireland. Check Up Check In will feature:
• A presentation from Clive Parkinson of Arts for Health, Metropolitan Manchester https://www.artsandhealth.ie/perspectives/a-love-filled-slap-a-manifesto-for-arts-and-health/
• A hands-on, manifesto-themed workshop with artists Jesse Jones and Eleanor Philips
• Pecha kucha presentations on aspects of arts and health practice
• A panel discussion exploring creative and collaborative practices of resistance and care.
