The Royal Society for Public Health in the UK will be hosting a series of webinars on arts, wellbeing and health beginning in November 2015. The first webinar on 3 November will have as its focus Arts on Prescription in the UK, featuring two ongoing projects with an emphasis on mental health and wellbeing and supporting people with a range of physical health problems.

There is growing interest in the idea of ‘arts on prescription’ drawing on the power of creativity and the arts to help improve mental and physical health. Professor Helen Payne, Pathways2Wellbeing, and Gavin Clayton, Arts on Prescription, will talk about the challenges involved in establishing and sustaining creative arts for health activities, and will also share findings from evaluation of this approach.
