Event
Klawitter Theatre Group in collaboration with Lifemusic CIC UK will present Lifesongs with nursing home residents from Ireland and music students of Chichester University at the Mermaid Arts Centre in Bray on 16 November 2015. An enjoyable and relaxed afternoon of story and song, this is a free event and everyone is welcome.
Klawitter and composer Rod Paton have written songs based on nursing home residents’ stories to give meaning and significance to people whose voices and stories are often overlooked and neglected. These are stories of real heartache and tragedy; an eviction, an estranged daughter, a lost child, a murdered son all turned into songs as part of the Lifesongs project.
