Helium Arts, the children’s arts and health organisation, has won a 2015 GSK Ireland IMPACT Award. This is the first time the award has been given in Ireland. The GSK Ireland IMPACT Awards are designed to recognise and reward community-based charities that are doing excellent work to improve people’s health and wellbeing in Ireland.
The awards are open to registered charities that are at least three years old, working in a health-related field in Ireland, with a total annual income between €20,000 and €1,000,000.
The awards ceremony took place on 22 October 2015 at The Science Gallery, Trinity College, Dublin. Helium joined The Migraine Association of Ireland, MyMind and Sonas apc as 2015 award winners.
