Epilepsy Ireland in partnership with Helium Arts will be hosting a series of puppet-making workshops for children with epilepsy and children whose parents have epilepsy in Galway, Cork and Dublin from March to May 2016.
These workshops will provide a space for children with epilepsy and children of parents with epilepsy to come together and meet other children with epilepsy and to explore epilepsy in a fun and non-threatening environment. Parents of children with epilepsy will have an opportunity to share and learn from each other as their children interact.
The puppet-making and performance workshops will explore story-making, characterisation, puppet play and end in a short performance. Children can take the puppets home.
