Corina Duyn’s Artist Book Into the Light will have its Dublin launch at The Sanctuary on 2 April 2016. Duyn created Into the Light as a limited edition artist book-in-a-wooden-box, reflecting on life with chronic illness and disability.
Fear, hope, acceptance, society’s attitudes, the power of creativity and moments of gratitude are all explored. Supported by quotes from a great variety of authors, each sheet is illustrated with Duyn’s nature photographs and her imaginative art. Duyn has also created a special edition suitable for use in hospitals and care centres, with laminted pages in a treated box so that they can be cleaned/disinfected if required.
Into the Light will be launched by Sr. Stanislaus Kennedy, founder of The Sanctuary, on Saturday 2 April at 2pm, followed by a talk with the artist.
