In January 2016 artsandhealth.ie came together with Create and The LAB Gallery in Foley Street Dublin to present the first Arts and Health Check Up, Check In , an event which is designed to promote solidarity among arts and health practitioners in Ireland.
The inaugural Arts and Health Check Up, Check In explored the notion of a manifesto for arts and health set against the 1916 Easter rising Proclamation . Clive Parkinson of Arts for Health , Manchester Metropolitan University shared his experience of developing a manifesto for arts and health in the UK within the political climate of the time.
