Opportunity
Helium Arts, the national children’s arts and health organisation, is recruiting a new board member to advise on the area of Arts Strategy. The board member will provide guidance on developing the organisation’s strategy in response to current national arts policy and best practice arts models, nationally and internationally, in the context of participatory arts and children’s arts.
The Arts Strategy Board Member helps to insure that the quality of Helium Arts’ artistic vision is maintained throughout Helium’s short and longer-term goals. These activities will be undertaken in addition to general board membership responsibilities as outlined in Helium’s Board Member Agreement document. All Helium board members should possess a belief in the transformative nature and importance of the arts in society. In addition, Board members are asked to offer support to fundraising campaigns, donor-development and corporate engagement in whatever capacity possible. This is a voluntary position.
