Three of Co. Kildare’s most interesting choral groups lean on each other to create an intergenerational sound some 100 voices strong. Anam Youth Choir, Past Times Community Choir and Voices of Spring Community Choir will take you through their most popular songs, featuring hits from Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, The Beatles and Coldplay. This event will take place as part of Culture Night weekend.

Past Times Community Choir – A Kildare Music and Health Programme
The award-winning Past Times Community Choir is an intergenerational choir that supports people living with dementia, their families, carers and communities.
Established in January 2015 and homed in McAuley Place in Naas, the choir meets weekly to develop their repertoire, singing skills and harmonies.
The choir is a strategic partnership between Kildare County Council Arts Service and its Arts and Health Specialist, the HSE and musical director Sharon Murphy to develop music and health within the county.
It is open to all ages and provide supports for everyone to participate in the choir regardless of mobility, ability and communicative impairments.

Voices of Spring Community Choir – A Kildare Music and Health Programme
The Voices of Spring Community Choir is an intergenerational choir that supports people living with dementia, their families, carers and communities.
Established in February of 2017 and homed in The Mill Community Centre in the heart of Celbridge, the choir meets weekly to develop their repertoire, singing skills and harmonies.
The choir is a strategic partnership between Kildare County Council Age Friendly Alliance and Arts Service and its Arts and Health Specialist, the HSE and musical director Sadhbh O’Sullivan to further develop music and health within the county. This is a sister choir to Past Times Community Choir in Naas.
It is open to all ages and provide supports for everyone to participate in the choir regardless of mobility, ability and communicative impairments.
