An Introduction to Arts and Health, the one-day workshop taking place at University Hospital Limerick (UHL) on Friday 10 November is now fully booked, with a lengthy waiting list. The workshop is organised by artsandhealth.ie via Waterford Healing Arts Trust and is supported by the Arts Committee of the UL Hospitals Group and the Arts Office of Limerick City and County Council.

Anyone who missed out on a place in the workshop should note that Check Up Check In 2018, the national arts and health gathering, will take place at the end of April in Cork. Check Up Check In provides an opportunity for those working and interested in arts and health to share their experiences, exchange ideas and support and inspire each other in their practice. Further details will follow in the new year.

We are delighted with the response to this year’s workshop and we are very grateful to the Arts Committee of the UL Hospitals Group and the Arts Office of Limerick City and County Council for helping us to get the word out and let people know about the workshop.  We have a great spread of people coming from the healthcare and arts sectors in Limerick, Tipperary and Cork, and further afield, so it should make for a very vibrant and productive day.’
