Illuminate at Cork Film Festival 2017

Illuminate is an annual series of curated film and discussion events at Cork Film Festival which each focus on a differing aspect of mental health.  The series is supported by the HSE Cork Mental Health Services and Arts + Minds. Illuminate will take place from 14-18 November 2017 at Triskel Christchurch. Cork Jazz Festival at Cork University Hospital

There will be a double bill of jazz at Cork University Hospital on Friday 27 October 2017 to celebrate 40 years of the Cork Jazz Festival. The Cork Light Orchestra and the Lamarotte Jazz Band from Holland will be performing on the day. Read More

Under One Sky Commission at University Hospital Waterford

Waterford Healing Arts Trust announces the installation of a new commission by Marielle MacLeman in University Hospital Waterford entitled Under One Sky. Incorporating pictures of sky submitted by friends of the Department of Psychiatry (DOP),  this series of artworks was commissioned for the acute and sub-acute units of the DOP by Waterford Wexford Mental Health Services and the Waterford Healing Arts Trust and was installed in August 2017. Lunchtime concert by Hilary Dring at Cork University Hospital celebrating Pastoral Care Week 2017

Cork University Hospital will host a Piano Recital by pianist Hilary Dring in the Cardiac Renal Centre Atrium at 1pm on Wednesday 25 October. This recital is part of the celebration for International Pastoral Care Week (22-28 October 2017). All are welcome.  Read More
