To celebrate 70 years of the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK, Paintings in Hospitals has initiated a daily countdown of 70 ways art has contributed to the UK’s physical, mental and social health.
Each entry is accompanied by references to relevant studies, data and research, and includes insights from healthcare professionals, participants, academics and arts practitioners.
Paintings in Hospitals is a UK organisation that uses art to inspire better health and wellbeing for two million people around the UK.
