Free online course: Museums as spaces for wellbeing

Date posted: 26 July 2018

The National Alliance for Museums, Health and Wellbeing in England has launched a free online course: Museums as spaces for wellbeing. This course is aimed at providing advice, tools and guidance on the steps to take in order to develop, deliver and evaluate health and wellbeing work within a museum, heritage or cultural organisation.

The course is entirely online and you can study at your own pace. It is aimed at sector professionals and anyone interested in health and wellbeing work in museum, heritage, or cultural organisations. It will be useful for those who have yet to undertake work in this area or are already doing so but would like support in certain aspects of their provision.

The course has six modules:

  • An introduction to health and wellbeing
  • Partnership and co-creation
  • Types of audiences and activities
  • Measuring impact
  • Organisational change
  • Next steps

You can enrol at any time by visiting:

Museums as spaces for wellbeing is funded by Arts Council England and Wellcome.
