St. Luke’s General Hospital in Kilkenny is hosting a group show by Open Studio Artists from KCAT (Kilkenny Collective for Arts Talent) from 8-19 August as part of AKA (Alternative Kilkenny Arts) Fringe Festival.

KCAT, founded in 1999, is a multi-disciplinary Arts Centre based in Callan, Co. Kilkenny, dedicated to the fostering and nurturing of creative ambition and professional development in the arts.

SLGHK is delighted to welcome KCAT back after a very successful exhibition in 2017. The show features 16 pieces by 16 artists, some of whom have been developing their practice for many years and others for only a short while. The work on show is diverse in theme and technique, full of colour, vibrancy and individuality.

Staff, patients and visitors are invited to the launch at SLGHK on Wednesday 8 August from 12-2pm.

The exhibition is located in the corridor between the Emergency Department leading to the Outpatients clinics and the shop.

AKA Fringe takes place in Kilkenny City and County from 2-19 August 2018. For further information visit www.akafringe.com
