In conjunction with MISA Creative Life and the National Gallery of Ireland, the Dementia Services Information and Development Centre bring you ‘One Thursday at the Gallery’ – a recognition of the increasingly important role the arts are playing in the world of dementia care. This conference is taking place on Thursday 15 November 2018 at the National Gallery.

Speakers from Ireland and the UK will discuss music, theatre and art in the morning and the afternoon will be set aside for Azure workshops (a programme dedicated to making art galleries and museums dementia inclusive), Virtual Reality and a Silent Disco.

This event will be of interest to people with dementia and their families, arts professionals, health and social care professionals, psychologists, clinicians, research fellows and students.

The event programme can be accessed at www.dementia.ie.
