SCRUBS-CUH Workplace Choir: To Vienna and beyond

SCRUBS, the Workplace Choir at Cork University Hospital, is travelling to Vienna on 28 November to take part in the annual International Advent Singing Festival, a prestigious four-day event. A group of 54 people comprising choir members, musicians and supporters will attend. 

In addition to performances at Schönbrunn Palace and Vienna City Hall, the itinerary will include a visit to AKH Vienna General Hospital where the choir will give a performance for the patients and staff.

In advance of this trip and as part of the 40^th anniversary celebrations of Cork University Hospital, SCRUBS will hold its weekly rehearsal in the Atrium of the Cardiac Renal Centre on Thursday 15 November from 5.15pm. All staff, patients and visitors are welcome to come along to hear the choir make its final preparations before setting off for Vienna.
