The Museum of Making and Mending is running from 16 November until the end of December 2018 at Cork County Library, County Hall. A group of people attending Skibbereen Day Care Centre worked with artists Tess Leak and Sarah Ruttle to create a museum full of original poetry and artwork inspired by objects made or mended.  Read More

SCRUBS, the Workplace Choir at Cork University Hospital, is travelling to Vienna on 28 November to take part in the annual International Advent Singing Festival, a prestigious four-day event. A group of 54 people comprising choir members, musicians and supporters will attend.  Read More


Can You See What I See? at Rua Red, Tallaght

‘Can You See What I See?’ is a series of hand-painted illustrations by artist Caroline Hyland strongly informed by listening to people with dementia, and to those who support them; their families, friends and medical professionals. Taking an informative approach to the everyday, Caroline depicts supports she has learnt that may help someone to live well or a little better with dementia. ‘Can You See What I See?’ is currently being exhibited at Rua Red Arts Centre in Tallaght. An artist tour and talk will take place on Saturday 17 November 2018 at 2pm in Rua Red café. Read More


Crimson Waves: Creative workshops exploring the health of women and girls in Limerick

Galway University Hospitals Arts Trust is hosting ‘Gardenland,’ a solo exhibition by Fiona Cawley, on the arts corridor at University Hospital Galway from 3-29 November 2018. In ‘Gardenland’, the artist considers the connection between her controlled garden space and that of the bordering wild natural landscape.  Read More
