Creative Arts and Dementia: Developing Best Practice is a new UK conference developed in collaboration with the Journal of Dementia Care, the Creative Dementia Arts Network (CDAN) and the National Activity Providers Association (NAPA). The conference will take place on 24 September 2019 at the mac in Birmingham.

Creative Arts and Dementia: Developing Best Practice is designed to highlight and showcase the very best practice across arts, health and social care sectors and to explore how practice can be embedded in care homes and in the community.

The conference will be structured around two main plenary sessions and two sets of four concurrent parallel sessions, encompassing presentation, panel discussions, workshops in music, dance, drama, creative writing, digital arts and much more, besides providing ample opportunities for networking.
