Activate a conscious place for living: Places, Engagements, Personal & Community Narratives will be launched on 17 October 2019 at Áras an Chontae in Tullamore. Artist Julie Spollen designed and managed an exploration of inclusion, social health and placemaking for arts and cultural advocacy with a collective of professionals: Dr. Owen Douglas, Urban and Rural Designer, School of Architecture UCD; Catherine Donnelly, Dance Artist; Laura Angell, Visual Artist.

Separately, Julie and visual artist Rowena Keaveny researched a Creative Charter by older people for older people, ‘Spaces – Identity, Participation, Equality (First Draft),’ funded by The Community Foundation for Ireland’s Advocacy for Older Persons’ Fund.

Guests Speakers: Bridie Costello, Offaly Public Participation Network; Caroline Barry, Manager of Anam Beo, Arts, Health & Wellbeing Organisation; Sally O’Leary, Offaly County Council Arts Officer.
