Are you connected with the arts in palliative care? Are you an artist, project lead, programme coordinator or health professional who professionally engages with patients using the arts in palliative care? Ulster University is leading a research project in collaboration with the University of Florida Center for Arts in Medicine to better understand arts practices provided for patients in palliative care in international contexts.

For the purposes of this study, the term ‘palliative care’ is used in the broadest sense to include the care and management of chronic and life-limiting illness such as (but not limited to) cancer, cardiovascular disease, dementia/frailty, Parkinson’s disease, among others.

The survey will take approximately 12-14 minutes to complete.

In order to complete the survey, you must be:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Professionally engaged in the delivery of the arts with patients in palliative or end of life care
  • Agree to participate in the study voluntarily

You may discontinue participation at any time for any reason. Your responses will not be shared in any way that can identify you; there is no anticipated risk of participation and no compensation is provided. No information will be used for marketing or commercial interests.
