An Engagement with Nature is an exhibition by Connolly Collective and invited artists at Connolly Hospital, Dublin 15. Opening on 5 March 2020, the artworks reflect individual interpretations of nature’s transient, spectacular and surprising displays, particularly through variations of light, influencing patterns, textures, colour and form.
The presented pieces seek to express and celebrate the joy and beauty of the natural world and the healing qualities derived from the pleasure and enjoyment it provides. The artworks draw on influences from realism, impressionism, and textural and abstract processes.
The opening will take place from 4-6pm on 5 March. An Engagement with Nature will be launched by Professor Tom Walsh, Department of Surgery.
