The Arts Council is now accepting applications for the Arts Participation Bursary Award 2020. This award supports individual professional artists working in any artform to develop their Arts Participation practice.
Artists must have a track record of working collaboratively with individuals and groups of non-arts professionals in the making and interpreting of artwork. Artists might work in any of the following contexts: health, disability, cultural diversity, creative ageing, community development, other communities of place and/or interest.
The award seeks to provide artists with the time and resources to think, research, reflect and engage deeply with their practice.
In preparing your application, you should base it on the best public health advice and guidance available at the time you are making your application. Given this, you should ensure that what you are proposing is feasible or adaptable should social distancing and/or other public health measures impact on all or part of the bursary period.
Applicants may apply for an award of up to €15,000.
