Event
Well Dance At Home is a free programme of online dance classes hosted by Dance Theatre of Ireland. The 2021 programme is starting the week of 25 January and includes a weekly movement class for people with Parkinson’s, Movement & Music dementia-inclusive classes and Well-Dance for Seniors.
Well Dance is a way, a time & a place to re-discover important things and turn strangers into friends. Dance is not only good for you, it improves mood, fitness and hope. It addresses quality of life for many people, their health, value and wellbeing. Moving, learning something new, getting lost in the wonder of moving together – dance can tap forgotten parts of the human experience of living, and transport people to a kinaesthetic place. Dancing matters, the arts matter, because they help us to understand how we matter!
Well Dance At Home takes place on Zoom. Pre-registration is essential.
